FAQs
When is the best time of day to take Rest and Restore Max™?
When is the best time of day to take Rest and Restore Max™?
I generally recommend my Rest and Restore Max™ formula be taken on an empty stomach, 30-60 minutes before your ideal bedtime. This is the best time to take it if you are using it to support a healthy night’s rest, to help reestablish your circadian rhythm, or to help recover from jet lag. Keep in mind that because it may make some people drowsy, you should not take Rest and Restore Max™ before driving a vehicle or operating heavy machinery.
Is Magnesium safe for children, pregnant women, and nursing mothers?
Is Magnesium safe for children, pregnant women, and nursing mothers?
Yes. Magnesium supplementation is safe when it is used as directed and is not contraindicated by advice you’ve been given by your healthcare provider, or any prescription medications you’re taking, however I always recommend working with a qualified healthcare provider if you have any concerns, and before supplementing with anything new in order to determine what’s best for your individual health status!
What are adaptogens?
What are adaptogens?
As a licensed medical doctor (M.D.), I take my supplements seriously. Every single one of my formulas features the most bioavailable nutrients that are not only of premium pharmaceutical-grade quality, they’re also difficult for non-M.D.s to obtain. You’ll find my CLA is standardized to 80% from safflower oil — most other products out there deliver far less (and don’t even list potency on the label).
What makes Dr. Myers’ Lean with EGCG weight management formula different?
What makes Dr. Myers’ Lean with EGCG weight management formula different?
Adaptogenic herbs or “adaptogens” represent a class of herbs used for centuries to help the body adapt to stress. Despite their recent surge in popularity, adaptogens such as ashwagandha, ginseng, and rhodiola have a long history of therapeutic use in traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine.
Adaptogens have been touted for their ability to promote healthy energy levels, vitality, and a balanced mood. By having a balancing effect on bodily processes, adaptogens help decrease the cellular damage caused by stress.
How do I clean my tumbler?
How do I clean my tumbler?
I recommend washing by hand rather than placing in the dishwasher. The smooth interior just needs a quick swipe with soapy water for any liquid to slide right off. Wash the lid with warm, soapy water and let air dry. In a jiffy, it’s ready to use over and over.
Is the Amy Myers MD® Tote Bag insulated?
Is the Amy Myers MD® Tote Bag insulated?
No, because this tote is made with 100% recycled cotton, it does not have an insulated layer.
