Colon Comfort can be used any time of the day, morning or night. I like to take my Colon Comfort right before I go to bed as it supports a healthy night’s sleep. Colon Comfort can also be taken with or without food. Some people feel better when taking it with a meal, although most people tolerate it on an empty stomach just fine.
Is Colon Comfort safe for long-term use?
Magnesium citrate pulls water into the intestines from other areas in the body, so while it is generally safe for day to day use, I suggest you drink plenty of water with it and drink additional fluids throughout the day to prevent dehydration. I always recommend working with a qualified healthcare provider if you have any concerns, and before supplementing with anything new in order to determine what’s best for your individual health needs!

I religiously ordered and used the (old) magnesium capsules with great success and after reading reviews about the new formula I was very nervous but decided to continue to order because I trust Dr Amy. BEST DEVISION EVER. In my opinion, the new formula is more gentle (probably because of the addition of the botanical extracts) but just as effective. BMs move through my colon smoother and more natural and are healthier looking and more complete. Like most things, it’s about mindset. Most people don’t like change, but once you’re able to get over that hurdle you’ll enjoy this new formula.
