Doesn’t curcumin have to be taken with black pepper to be effective?

No. While black pepper extract (piperine) is often added to lower quality curcumin supplements to promote intestinal absorption, my Curcumin Super Soluble is made with BCM-95® curcumin complex. BCM-95® bound to volatile essential oils naturally found in the turmeric plan drastically increasing its solubility and bioavailability, This is excellent news for those sensitive to black pepper, or who are searching for the absolute highest quality curcumin complex available.

Is Dr. Myers’ Curcumin formula safe for children, pregnant women, and nursing mothers?

My Curcumin complex has no ingredients that are contraindicated for children, pregnant women, or breastfeeding mothers. What time of day should I take Dr. Myers’ Curcumin Super Soluble? Should I take it with or without food?

Because curcumin is fat soluble, my Curcumin Super Soluble formula is best taken with breakfast, lunch, or dinner. While curcumin may be taken with only a glass of water (it does not have to be taken with a meal), it is far better absorbed when taken with food!
