Calcium supplements alone do not efficiently support bone growth and bone mineral density… This is a hard fact that I cannot stress enough. Optimal bone mineral density requires myriad nutrients in sufficient quantities. Vitamin D3 supports optimal absorption, Vitamin K2 ferries calcium from the arteries into the bone, and magnesium is critical for crystalline bone mineral matrix formation.
