I designed my SIBO Breakthrough® Kit to help promote and maintain a healthy and normal population of probiotic bacteria in your digestive tract. Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, also known as small bowel bacterial overgrowth, occurs when bacteria colonize the normally quite sterile small intestine. SIBO can be influenced by many factors, including constipation, poor diet, antibiotic use, and low stomach acid. Even beneficial probiotic bacteria such as Lactobacillus Acidophilus, and other normally probiotic lactic acid based strains of bacteria can contribute to this issue if the stage is set. I put together my SIBO Breakthrough® Kit specifically to help tackle the issue of bacterial imbalance, as well as to help populate the digestive tract with spore form, soil based probiotic bacteria that do not contribute to SIBO.

Can I take Dr. Myers’ SIBO Breakthrough® Kit with other kits or supplements from Dr. Myers’ store?

Unless you have a health condition or are on prescription medications that may be contraindicated, my supplements are generally safe to take alongside other high quality nutritional supplements, however, I always advise you speak with your healthcare provider if you have any concerns before starting any new supplements so that your health history and specific challenges may be taken into account.

Is it safe for my child to use Dr. Myers’ SIBO Breakthrough® Kit?

While many choose to give their teenagers the supplements in my SIBO Breakthrough® Kit, I recommend you check with your child’s pediatrician before starting any new supplementation so that your child’s health history and specific circumstances may be taken into account.

Can I take the supplements in Dr. Myers’ SIBO Breakthrough® Kit if I’m pregnant or nursing?

I strongly encourage you to always be sure to speak with your healthcare provider before starting any new nutritional supplement when pregnant or nursing. Pregnancy and nursing are generally not good times to undertake a detoxification protocol unless recommended by your healthcare provider.

Can Microb-Clear® be taken by those with a diagnosed nut allergy?

My Microb-Clear® formula contains an extract from black walnut hulls. While the extract used is harvested from the hull (shell) of the nut, due to the nature of the extraction process itself, there is no way to know with certainty that the extract is 100% free of the actual allergenic protein in walnuts. While it’s very unlikely that the extract does contain allergenic components of walnut, I urge you to err on the side of caution. I recommend clients with nut allergies not take this product before getting approval from their doctors or allergists.
