The Savory Comfort of Chicken Bone Broth Collagen
This chicken-soup-flavored Bone Broth Collagen is so delicious -- I love sipping a hot mug of it! Chicken soup is a nutritional powerhouse, and thankfully, it’s also delicious! I formulated my new certified organic Chicken Bone Broth Collagen to be a savory treat, just like a bowl of homemade chicken soup. It’s perfect any time of day and all year round.
100% Pure, Non-GMO Bone Broth Collagen
When it comes to bone broth, purity is key. There are a lot of different bone broth choices out there, and it can be really difficult to find a clean, high-quality source. That’s why I custom formulated my own USDA certified organic Bone Broth Collagen powder. It’s sourced from organic pasture raised chickens, and is also 100% non-GMO.
Collagen Is Your Body’s Most Important Structural Protein
Collagen from bone broth is the most important and abundant structural protein in your body. Think of collagen as the ‘glue’ that holds your body together. Your skin, bones, connective tissue, cartilage, and joints all depend on ample collagen to be healthy, strong and flexible.
Chicken Bone Broth Collagen: Packed With Rare Type II Collagen
Type II collagen from chicken bone broth is fabulous for your joints. I chose organic chickens as the source for my Bone Broth Collagen for one primary reason: Type II Collagen. Type II Collagen is far too rare in our modern diets simply because it is generally ONLY found in connective tissue such as cartilage, ligaments, and tendons. Our ancestors knew well enough to make broth from the connective tissue as the rare and powerful amino acids within were essential for supporting healthy and flexible joints, especially as we age.
Most Everyone Needs a Quality Bone Broth Collagen Supplement
Most of us cannot get enough collagen from our diets alone. Even those of us eating a clean, healthy, Paleo-inspired diet have trouble getting as much collagen as our distant ancestors did, let alone enough for optimal health. Unless you’ve got an 8 quart crock pot simmering bone broth all day, then you are very likely in need of a high-quality Bone Broth Collagen supplement!
Bone Broth Collagen is Fantastic for Repairing Leaky Gut
Bone Broth Collagen is fantastic for those concerned with Leaky Gut. Collagen from bone broth is full of amino acids and peptides that help maintain and promote optimal gut lining health. The cells lining your intestinal tract absolutely love this stuff, and so many of my patients report greater digestive comfort after using it. Supporting the gut lining is absolutely paramount for those concerned with autoimmunity, healthy thyroid function, and a balanced and normal inflammation response.
Bone Broth Collagen is Great for Hair, Skin, and Nails
Collagen from bone broth is critical if you’re looking to optimize the health of your muscles, bones, and joints, as well as your hair, skin, and nails. It’s even more important after the age of 40, when your body’s Collagen production naturally declines. Why do we get wrinkles at the age of 40? Well, a lot of that has to do with not enough collagen to support our skin!
Optimize Lean Muscle Mass with Bone Broth Collagen
Collagen from bone broth supports healthy weight management by optimizing lean muscle mass. It even helps curb sugar cravings by assisting with healthy insulin production and pancreatic function. My Bone Broth Collagen is also rich in conditionally essential amino acids that many of us are lacking in, such as glycine, which supports a healthy mood and restful sleep.

What time of day should I take Bone Broth Collagen?
Bone Broth Collagen can be taken any time, day or night. I love sipping a hot mug anytime I’m craving something savory, when I need a little snack between meals, or when I just need to warm up with something healthful and comforting!
How long should I take Bone Broth Collagen?
Bone Broth Collagen can be used indefinitely for best results. Many of my patients take collagen every day and have done so for years!
Is it safe for my child to take Bone Broth Collagen?
Bone Broth Collagen is safe for most kids, so long as they do not have an allergy to any of its ingredients. Collagen can help kids grow strong healthy bones and teeth! I always recommend speaking with your pediatrician before starting any new supplements.
Is Bone Broth Collagen okay to take while pregnant or nursing?
Yes. Provided you are not allergic to any of the ingredients, on any prescribed medications that could be contraindicated, or have been advised by your physician not to take collagen for any reason, then my Bone Broth Collagen is safe to use in doses recommended on the product label. If you have any concerns whatsoever, I always recommend speaking with your physician or other qualified healthcare provider.
I’ve heard collagen products can contain monosodium glutamate (MSG). Does your Bone Broth Collagen contain MSG?
Absolutely not. Collagen protein generally contains about 11% glutamic acid by weight, which is actually significantly less than beef, poultry, rice protein, and many other foods. Another important fact to be aware of is that almost all of the glutamic acid, a normal amino acid that occurs in most foods we humans eat, is bound in amino acid chains called peptides when found in collagen. Very little glutamic acid in my Bone Broth Collagen is in its free form. What is in the free form, is most certainly not chemically bound to sodium to make MSG. In fact, Bone Broth Collagen contains less processed free glutamic acid than orange juice, honey, grapefruit and lemon juice, and even breast milk. To summarize, there is no MSG in my Collagen, and very little free glutamic acid!
Is Bone Broth Collagen damaged by heat?
All proteins are damaged by high heat to some extent. Proteins are long chains of amino acids bound together. High heat can potentially fold and warp the amino acid chains into new shapes and structures called amines that may be unusable by the body, or even harmful. This is why you should avoid charring or overcooking meat. The proteins and peptides in my Bone Broth Collagen are quite stable at moderately high temps, so adding it to a cup of hot water, or stirring it into a simmering soup will not denature it too much.
How does Dr. Myers’ Collagen Protein differ from her Paleo Protein?
My Paleo Protein is a complete protein made from hydrolyzed beef that comes from grass fed, pasture grazing cows raised with care in Europe. It is a diverse combination of essential and nonessential amino acids, as well as branched chain amino acids, similar to what you would find in a high quality steak. Complete protein is essential for muscle and tissue repair, enzyme formation, and much much more. Conversely, my Collagen Protein is a very special type of protein sourced from the hides of grass fed, pasture roaming cows raised with care in Brazil. Collagen Protein is a special blend of primarily four amino acids that are actually quite lacking in the standard western diet. These amino acids support your own body’s ability to synthesize Collagen, which is your body’s primary structural protein. Collagen is essential for a healthy gut lining, strong hair, skin, and nails, connective tissue, and much much more. My team and I are often asked which type of protein is best, and because they vary so widely in their benefits, the answer is almost always, “Both!”

How come there are fewer scoops in my pouch than the number listed on the label?
The listed amount of scoops per pouch is an approximation and can vary based on personal use such as how full you make your scoops, spilling it, how well you scrape out the container, etc. While the number listed is an approximation, it shouldn’t vary considerably versus what you get.
My Bone Broth Collagen has all the same benefits of my Collagen Protein, with the added benefit of containing extra Type II collagen from USDA certified organic chickens for the ultimate in joint health support!

Why Buy from Amy Myers MD?
Finally, supplements from a source you can actually trust. After receiving my medical degree (M.D.) at Louisiana State University, I completed my residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center. In 2012, I became a certified functional medicine physician, so I could help my patients get to the root cause of their health problems.
Since then, I’ve gone on to write 2 New York Times bestselling books, as well as the Amazon #1 bestseller The Autoimmune Solution Cookbook. I’ve been a guest on the Dr. Oz Show 7 times, have starred in my own PBS special, and been featured in dozens of television, radio, and magazine interviews.
Many other supplement brands are run by fly-by-night operations looking to turn a quick buck. Not so with Amy Myers MD® — it’s one of the only health and wellness brands owned and operated by a real medical doctor (that’s me)!
You’ll know exactly what you’re getting because all products are 3rd party tested and verified. You may be surprised to know that the supplement industry is not regulated by the FDA and it’s up to the manufacturer to ensure they’re delivering high-quality products that contain what they say they do.
All of the supplements I carry in my store carry the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) seal, meaning they have been 3rd party tested for purity, quality, potency, and composition, so you can rest assured that you’re getting the key nutrients you’re paying for and that your body needs.
High-potency, pharmaceutical grade supplements to maximize value and impact.
Because I am a licensed physician, the supplements I carry are pharmaceutical grade, meaning they are higher quality and typically higher dosages than you can find in a health food store or online retailer.
This is vital because cost per unit is a key metric to look at when choosing supplements. If you look at a supplement such as my 100 Billion probiotic, you will find that you may need to take nearly an entire bottle of other probiotics to achieve the same potency.
My supplements contain no gluten, dairy, soy, GMOs, preservatives, dyes, or toxic ingredients. You’re not eating these inflammatory foods or toxins so why would you want them in your supplements?! I source all of the ingredients in my supplements from pure, clean sources.
There are a few incredibly rare exceptions where products contain trace amounts of dairy or egg because of the way they need to be formulated, however they are clearly marked on the product page and are in such low quantities that even my very sensitive patients typically have not had a reaction.
The highest quality ingredients in the form that is best absorbed and utilized by your body. The form and formulation of the vitamins and nutrients in your supplements make a difference! I have specifically sourced and formulated the ingredients in my products to be in their most bioavailable forms for maximum effectiveness.
Every product in my store has been personally vetted by me. Not only have I researched and tested every product I carry, I have also worked with thousands of patients to determine which formulations that produce the very best results.
Shopping is risk-free with my 90-day return guarantee. I stand behind all of the products I carry in my store. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply send the unused portion back to me, and we will refund your money.*
My team is committed to delighting and WOWing all of our customers with exceptional support. If you have questions about a product or how to place your order, my team of highly trained customer success specialists are here to support you via live chat, email, or phone.
